Upload links/button missing with Buddypress 2.1 release

Hello, I’m having the same problem. The links have disappeared after upgrading to Buddypress 2.1.

Please let me know if you found a solution.

The solution posted vom pathuri above (the missing one line in a PHP script) fixed most of the issues for us (we could not figure out how to revert back, anyway).

Sorry to hear you had trouble during that upgrade but it seems the latest BuddyPress version 2.1.1 works just fine with it.

I upgraded to version 2.1.1 and it still does not work for me. I reverted back to a previous version of buddypress and it works fine. Any suggestions?

I could confirm there is still an issue in the latest version 2.1.1 of BuddyPress plugin which is generating the JavaScript error as displayed in the following attached screenshot but it’s only happening on some sites mostly on locally hosted sites.

You can see the error message in your javascript console.

In Chrome go to “View -> Developer -> Javascript Console” and in Firefox you can go to “Tools -> Web Developer -> Console”

This error has nothing to do with BuddyPress Activity Plus plugin as it’s getting generating event when you deactivate the BuddyPress plugin.

This error will be fixed in the future version of BuddyPress plugin. In the meanwhile just downgrade the BuddyPress plugin to the previous stable BuddyPress version 2.0.3 by downloading it from the following page.

@Pugman how to revert to previous version safely. I reverted by uploading it and renaming the new version folder. My entire activity stream failed to load.
