Upload of pdf files always in the same date folder

I have activated the option Settings -> Media -> “Organize uploads in folders based on month and year” so that all media are separated into folders based on date (example https://www.mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/myimage.jpg) and this works fine for all types of files from the “media” page (images and videos) except for pdf files which instead are all placed in the same old folder (in my case /wp-content/uploads/2020/02/) even if they are new files, with different names generated on different dates.

This strange bug does not happen if I disable the “PDF Poster” plugin, so I deduce that there is something that when PDF Poster is up and running, from the media page any pdf file is always uploaded in the same folder “/2020/02/” but not other types of files.
