Upload path issue

  • We use Bedrock for our WP theme development and their folder structure is different to standard WP, however currently the gallery uploads are going into the core WP files rather than our app/uploads directory – https://roots.io/bedrock/

    I can see the ‘Where would you like galleries stored’ field, but when I try /app/uploads/gallery/ it says it doesn’t exist despite us manually creating the directory. We also tried the default /app/uploads directory.

    Can you confirm where that field is starting the root from? Is it the document root (which in Bedrock’s case would be the ‘web’ folder)?

    Any chance of a response on this one? It seems that currently your plugin doesn’t work with any sites that are built on Bedrock.

    Normal media uploaded to WordPress’ media library correctly saves to Bedrocks upload directory /web/app/uploads. However your plugin must use a different function for getting the upload path as it’s storing it in /web/wp/wp-content/uploads which means those images are wiped when we next do a WP update.
