Upload permissions and phpsuexec
-
Hello all,
My hosting company has got phpsuexec installed on the server I run my photolog, (which I recently upgraded to WP) and that means that every time I upload a picture, I have to connect via FTP and chmod the uploaded file from 600 to at least 644.
Since I’m planning to move 10 other blogs to the same server and upgrade them from b2 to WP, I need to modify the upload function to add the chmod command so this upgrade is transparent for my friends.
I am not very good at PHP, but I can read manuals. So, before any attempt to do this on my own, I wanted to ask you:
Have any of you done this before?
If not, where do I find the upload function? (b2upload.php is the obvious answer, but I haven′t taken a look yet)
Is this something simple or difficult to do?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Greetings from Mexico,
Wilson
