is there anyone who can help with this problem. I can’t upload anything in media on my localhost Have tried a lot and search a lot on the internet. no positive result.
    – the permission is correct (755),
    – the map reference in wp-config.php is set properly.
    – in mysql – my DB_NAME – options – upload_path is correct,
    – removed all plugins – no result.
    – downloaded again the admin files from my site with filezilla, no effect

    can’t find any other solution.

    thank you
    Albert

Go to your wordPress folder; then in wp-content then uploads and in that there is a folder which already contains your previously uploaded pictures; try to copy your new files directly over there.

Thank you for you replay, unfortunately it has no effect. It is strange, the pictures are in the right folder and when I upload I receive an error “problems occurred during uploading, try again later” but the picture is in the right folder. I can’t access the medialibrary.
Is it possible that Firefox or my firewall has influence on this. It is frustrating I can’t find the reason.

    thanks again

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
Hopefully it will work for you…..
Otherwise give a call to your hosting provider; and tell them about your issue.

Thank you again for the reply. I did try the plugin suggestion without succes. The strange this is, everything is working on my host but on the local host I have this problem. Also when I use the pluing Media Library Assistant all the pictures are there. Only when I try to customize the theme (also with other themes’s) by adding a picture, the nedia library hangs.
I will contact my hosting provider.

Unfortunately also after contacting my hosting provider I did not find the solution. What I did now is making a clone of my website to a test. website and everyting is working.
    thank for your support
