Hello! I am trying to upload a csv file but I am getting an error message: returned false

What’s the problem and how could I fix it?

    Thanks!

    Hi Joseph,

I can see from your error message that it is in reference to a plugin called dgrundel-woo-product-importer? That is not our plugin, as the code is sitting in a directory called woocommerce-product-importer. I would suggest reaching out to them, or if you are using Product Importer, it could be a conflict and would suggest removing the dgrundel plugin and trying again.

You are right. Sorry for that! I did try your plugin but it also gave me an error: Your CSV file upload has expired, re-upload it from the opening import screen.

I did uninstall the other one.

    Hi Joseph,

It could be a problem with the file name that is causing the error. Please will you hard refresh the page (shift f5), try renaming your import file eg. import.csv -> import1.csv, reselect the new import file and see if it will run the import as normal.

    All the best,

Actually, in my case the problem was that the file was too big. I reduced the filesize and it worked.
