    Hi,
It is related to your other issue with the multilingual plugin.
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/mediapress-stops-working

It is happening because the terms have most probably got translated and MediaPress is unable to find the privacy levels, components.

Can we please first resolve that and then come back to this ticket?

This was happening long before I added the translation plugin which I have deactivated now anyway.
The Mediapress links are all messed up in other ways. Clicking on a photo from a site wide gallery loads the gallery archive instead of the photo. Lots of issues.

Hi, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I will help one by one.

For now, Please visit MediaPress->Settings and on the General tab, Please uncheck the Sitewide Gallery and save.

That will make all the links work. currently, the shipped version has “gallery” set as archive slug and if you create a directory page and use same slug, they conflict and cause issues.

A simple solution is to either disable the Sitewide Gallery or change the gallery directory slug, or the last resort you can change the slug of the sitewide archive(but that needs permalink refresh and I don’t recommend the last options for now).

Please do that and let me know if it works for you or not?
I will be happy to assist you and get it working correctly. Also, Please do take a look through the docs, that may help with some of the issues.

    Thank you

I did what you suggested but now it just says no galleries and the upload permission problem remains. Users getting frustrated at this point and I don’t really have an answer for them.

    Hi Earl,
I am sorry but there are multiple issues here.

I am of the opinion that the translation plugin renamed the slugs of terms and even after disabling it is stil there. Will it be feasible if I work on your site and fix it there. I will need temporary admin access for the site and access to phpmyadmin. Please provide the details via BuddyDev’s contact form and I will fix it quickly and let you know the reasons.

    Thank you
    Brajesh
