upload theme

  • The link to register to upload themes is not working.

    How do I upload a them through wp-content/themes
    can’t seem to do it.

  • just FTP the theme files into wp-content/themes and log in to your admin control panel. Click on the Design or Presentation tab, depending on what version of WP you use, and the theme should show up for you to use.

    Unless your on the freely hosted WordPress.com, then I believe you have to pay to upload your own theme or else just use the available themes in the gallery.

    I have an ftp client but do not know how to upload it to wp-content/themes directory.
