I rarely give reviews to plugins, but today I gave UpdraftPlus 5 stars after using for quite a while…

And then I found a problem!

I’m changing things around and focusing my backups 100% on using GDrive.

One WP site is backing up very nicely, but another one can’t upload any files to GDrive.

I AM using separate Google Projects for each site.

The last few lines of the log for the failing backup are:

2558.540 (8) Cloud backup selection: googledrive
2558.545 (8) Beginning dispatch of backup to remote (googledrive)
2558.565 (8) Google Drive: requesting access token: client_id=xxxxxxxxxxx.apps.googleusercontent.com
2559.014 (8) Google Drive: successfully obtained access token
    2560.841 (8) Google Drive quota usage: used=21213.7 Mb, total=102400 Mb, available=81186.3 Mb
2560.844 (8) backup_2015-03-25-1255_Internet_Professionals_Blog_06a304b5e871-plugins.zip: Attempting to upload to Google Drive (into folder id: 0B0AbgJXTp2CzbHVreVV4dndyY3M)

Currently, it’s on attempt 8 to upload!

Also, I checked the folder id above – and it is exactly the same as the folder id of the backup that works.

I have already clicked “Wipe all settings”.

Any suggestions for what to try here?

    Thanks

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Could you attach the full log file?
It is too long to paste here, but you can copy the contents into an online tool (such as https://pastebin.com/ )

The full log file will contain any information on errors occurring.

    Hi David

As far as I could see, the are no errors – just repeated attempts to save to GDrive.

But here is the full log file

    Thanks

    Hi,

It looks rather like PHP crashes each time it comes to the upload stage. To look into that, you’ll need to locate the PHP error log on your server (it varies between servers, so I can’t guess where it’ll be on yours), and see what’s logged there.

Also, if you’ve got any other plugins that use any other Google services (not just Drive), then try de-activating them, and starting a fresh backup.
