• I have searched the web and can’t seem to find anything to help me. I am building out a subscription based website teaching people how to model. Basically a MasterClass for models. I’ve built my site using elementor and I’ve used plugins and everything else to build out the subscription side of it. What I would like to do is upload my video classes in the backend and then using elementors frontend place an element which would populate my uploaded videos similar to how I upload written posts then using elementors frontend drag a post element and it populates it with content from my uploaded posts.

    I need help ASAP!

  • Videos are media files, just like images. And you attach videos to posts just as you do with images.

I’m not familiar with Elementor (or any other page builder)… but if Elementor can fetch uploaded images from the media gallery and display them as you want (as with posts), then, in theory, it should be able to do the same with videos. You may want to post your question in Elementor’s dedicated support forum where you’re likely to get help from the plugin’s developers and users: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/

    In any case…

If you’re creating classes, have you considered using an actual e-learning plugin (or even theme) that provides built-in features to manage your classes (eg student registration, breaking courses into unit lessons, automated certificates of completion, etc) and supports learning (eg tracking progress, marking lessons as completed, assignments and quizzes, etc).

Also, note that if you simply upload the course videos into WordPress, the video files will not be protected in any way, and anyone can easily access them. If this is a concern for you, then you absolutely must re-think your plan.

    Good luck, and stay safe!
