Upload works but shows no files at all

Hi,

I am using WordPress 2.0.4 with PHP 5.0.4 on Apache 2.0.58 with MySQL 5 on a Windows XP machine, locally.

When I upload a file, either an image or something else, using the Upload form on the Post page, the upload form will just refresh after the upload, but there is no “Browse” or “Browse all” option shown.

I have the upload dir set to the standard, wp-content/uploads, and the uploaded files correctly appear there, including the thumbnails (GD is installed. It doesn’t matter if I enable or disable the “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” feature.

I have tried both Firefox (1.5) and Internet Explorer (6), but that makes no difference at all. The upload form just reloads after processing the upload, without any error.

I tried installing the Photopress plugin, but after activating it and enable the “hide the built-in upload form” option, I see *no* upload form *at all* on the Post page. Disabling the “hide” option just brings back the built-in upload form.

I have no idea what to look for, since I get no errors.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
