uploaded file not valid image – header

    I am using the Expound theme for my site, and am attempting to upload an image for the header. I created a PhotoShop image in the exact dimensions specified by WordPress, saved it as a jpg, but when I try to upload I get “The uploaded file is not a valid image. Please try again.” I’ve tried saving in several formats and nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?
