• Hi,

I have installed the latest version of the free SP client… (first activated) and then the premium trial (second activated). I am developing at my home computer, using Windows 8 and I guess the latest IIS server. I am using “Theme my plugin” and “Role Scoper” (for editing roles). My problem:

After uploading a file (the uploading seems to go fine) no file show up in list. It doesn′t help to Refresh. I tried both in admin and on a page.

When checking in the automatically created upload folder (uploads/sp-client-document-manager/”folder named with figure”) the files seems to be there, but I can′t open them – I don′t seem to have the right permissions. Could this be the problem? If so – how do I get the SP client… plugin to set the correct permissions on folders and files?

    Best regards

Please deactivate and reactivate the plugins there is a failsafe there that will check if the db has been installed correctly.

Ok. Thanks for your answer. I do not use the plugin at the moment, but I might do later.

Having this same problem with free version (testing it now for potential purchase).

They’re not in the User Files / Uploader section, however I can see when I click the plugin Home link.

    Hi,

    I have a similarly problem.

When I activate trial-version-plugin than I can’t upload any data.
The screen is shown and I can choose a file, but the file don’t come up in the list. Also in the admin-backend I cannot find it, wether client-document-> home nor client-document->user files.

But when I choos “Use The Free Version Uploader” in the settings it works (but screens don’t look very well so I would prefer another solution).

Hi Lucy, please deactivate and reactivate the plugin. that should sort out any issues.

    Hi,

I found that tip while searching for a solution and tried it without success. But you gave me a good advice in another category that fixed the bug. It was a jQuery conflict.

    Thanks ??

    Hi Lucy,
Can you kindly share the exact fix you made? That’s always super helpful ??

    Hi Lucy,

There are a few different reasons why this happens. Allot of the times its a jquery conflict, some of the times its database structure when upgrading from old versions. We do have conflict support for anyone needing support for conflicts in the future.

    Hi 3rdEyeGuam,

I didn’t add the solution in this category because it was not specified to this problem. This problem was only one of the results of the main conflict.

    Waht I did:
I change .on()-funtcion to .bind()-function in the php-file of the plugin. I read that these two function do the same but are out of differen jQuery versions.
