uploaded themes not available in presentation

Are you uploading them to:
https://bensputerstore.us/wp-content/themes/

Some themes have a double folder. Be sure you just have one folder uploaded in your themes directory.

Ex. https://bensputerstore.us/wp-content/themes/vesuvius

I have followed the instructions explecitly….downloaded three themes and uploaded them with FileZilla….the 3 theme files appear in their folders as uploaded, but do not appear in presentations….nor does the select option. I’m a newbee and this is my first try….your help will be appreciated –

When on your site, try doing a hard refresh of your browser – Ctrl + F5

Also if your WP is prior to 2.0.3, you probably have a cache folder – empty the contents of the folder.

cklick that link, you have NOT uploaded the themes to the correct directory ??

they need to be in something that will resemble this:
/your_name/public_html/wp-content/themes/

you’re right…neither of the three are uploaded in the proper directory, it appears. I have uploaded as you suggested and that did’nt work either.

Nope I can see you havent got it right yet.

A screenshot of what you see when you ftp into your site would be helpful..but for the time being..

heres how it typically looks:

you ftp and youre in /

from there you might see:

www
public_html
tmp
etc
logs
…

when you cd (change directories) into public_html, you are in whats commonly called your web_root. everything in there is accessable from the web.

locate your wp-config.php. In that same directory, there out to be a directory (folder) named wp-content, and inside wp-content should be another directory (folder) named themes.

THATS where your uploaded themes need to be.
