Uploaded videos won't play, player only shows black

  • I recently started a new blog, and I upgraded to version 3.9.2. None of the videos I uploaded would play. I tried seven plugins with no success. With most of them, all I got was a black rectangle with the Play icon in the middle. When I clicked on it, if I was lucky I heard the audio but saw no video. I tried several MP4 files which should have played fine. One of them had been uploaded to youtube with no problem.

    I spent several hours trying to resolve the problem with no success.

    Hi did you get any joy with this yet? I’m having the same issue. Videos are working fine until you upload them, then you just get an audio but no video feed.
