Uploaded WP in Filezilla not showing on Website

  • This all new to me. Please be nice.

    So I purchased a blog theme from a website (Tofurious). I had to purchase a domain through Godaddy, Get an FTP account and a database, all very new things to me. So I did it all and got wordpress uploaded into Filezilla but when I go to my website it doesn’t have wordpress on it. It shows a coming soon picture from Godaddy. I have been at this for about 6 hours now. Between taking care of my family. I’m so frustrated and mad that I went this route. But now I’ve spent the money and need to figure it out. I’ve googled my problem and have retraced my steps countless times. Can someone please help? I hope I’m making sense of what’s happening.

    Basically wordpress isn’t showing up when I put in my domain.

    Oh and after I uploaded WP into Filezilla it says: Directy listing succesful.

    So today I looked at my filezilla and don’t know if this has to do with it or if it’s just because I closed my computer last night but it says Disconnected from server: ECONNABORTED – Connection aborted. Should it be doing that. It was saying listed succesful before I went to bed. HELP PLEASE! So frustrated here and the site I bought the theme from is hasn’t responded and it’s been two days!

    Filezilla is just a transfer program you have your wordpress on server not filezilla

    You have a place holder in root that Go daddy put there when they set up your host account you need to delete it could a index.html
