uploader issues are operator error?

  • i’ve always seemed to have to do battle with the uploader (/especially/ when uploading a gallery) and it has never seemed to matter whether i run the Select button or if i drag and drop.

    i seem to spend half a day messing around on one post because this uploader always crashes out on me.

    normally i try and upload and there is one image that gets hung up if i am doing a gallery or something but today i am trying to upload two (!) images of about 150 KB each and i keep doing some dance routine where i try one and try the other or try them both and – here it goes again – i am trying again so i’ll keep my fingers crossed.

    anyway, this sometimes happens after i have already uploaded an image, realize it is not SIZED to fit, then i change the size, delete the original and try to upload the new one.

    any suggestions on how i can fly this tool a little better or is this pretty much what i get.

  • You may want to inform you host tech support about the uploading difficulties. See what they say. I used to have uploading difficulties until I changed my host. Not sure if there are other causes for your difficulties.

    You could also deactivate your plugins one by one and re-test your uploading to see it is caused by a plugin.
