Uploading a new theme, but stuck on Gravitar support
-
I’ve just finished my first WordPress theme, and am having trouble uploading it to the directory. The theme itself is a very basic extension of the default theme, with only a custom stylesheet an untouched index.php, and slightly modified header.php and footer.php files. Nothing fancy.
Yet when I upload it, I get this message complaining that it doesn’t support gravitars:
Gravatar support is required for themes in the directory. Details on how to add Gravatar support to your theme is available at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Gravatars#Theme_Support_for_WordPress_2.5.
Naturally, I checked my working version and comments are indeed showing Gravitar images. And c’mon, it’s the default theme for WordPress, so you’ve got to assume that it’s up to date.
Has anybody run up against this? Any advice? I’ll be happy to post a link to the theme if necessary (but I wont at the moment to avoid spamming this forum.)
