Uploading a theme…

Figaro…thanks for responding so quickly. The video is seems to be Windows based…I’m on a Mac. Any suggestions?

In so far as how to “upload a theme”, the primary difference is what FTP client you use.

filezilla has a mac client even

beyond that small difference, the “process” is the same.

Arthur, the instructions for either windows or mac are very similar.

First, get and FTP client. I use CiberDuck on my mac, but filezilla is also good.

Then, install it. After that, connect to your site using your ftp user and password (Your hosting company should have provided this with your account information).

You should see a bunch of files and folders, look for “public_html” or “www”. In there, you should be able to find “wp-content/themes” easily. Drag and drop the theme folder inside the “themes” directory and presto!
