Uploading and cropping post thumbnail

I was wondering if there was a good plugin you guys would recommend that you could upload, crop and associate a thumbnail with a post?

Or some kind of plugin that would automaticallly crop and scale the first image in the entry to associate with the post’s thumbnail.
