• Hi guys,

With the upload artwork button, is there a way to set file types a user can upload?

Also at the moment once a user uploads their artwork and hits “Add to basket” it doesn’t actually add anything to the cart? Is this a bug in this version or is it because we are using the free version?

    Thanks.

    Hello,
The upload artwork currently doesn’t allow you to limit the file types you can upload, however the current allowed file types for upload are JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, PDF (paid version). We are also in the process to allow for much more file types which we expect to be ready soon.

With regards to the issue you are experiencing, could you maybe attach some screen shots for us as there aren’t any known bugs with regards to file upload.

Also, just double check file permissions on the server as well to be sure that the web app has permission to write the image to the server.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

In regards to the file uploading, I have checked that the “uploads” folder has a 755 write permission.

Basically, once you hit “add to basket” it disappears and nothing gets put into the basket. I can see the file though in the “uploads” folder.

If I do a design through the uDraw designer though and then hit “add to basket” it works?

Do you think it is a woocommerce conflict error?

I’ve also tried changing themes as well as deactivating all plugins other than woocommerce and uDraw… no luck. ??

I’ve managed to refine it down to the following:

It lets me upload artwork and add to cart if I do not assign any templates to it so the product is “Upload Artwork” only. If I allow for a “design It” as well as “upload artwork” on the same product, this is when it doesn’t work.

Is this because it is the Free version? Also, is there a way to get a trial Full Version at all? The client wants to definitely know everything works the way they intend it too before we make the real purchase.

Thanks again for all your time.
