• I followed the directions for uploading file.

    In my form:
    <p>Attach Research Examples
    [file your-file filetypes:pdf|txt limit:20mb]

    In file attachment section:
    [your-file]

My temp file path in FTP:
    webroot / wp-content / uploads / wpcf7_uploads / .htaccess

When a file is attached in the form and the Send button is pressed, absolutely nothing happens. No error message for green success message. Absolutely nothing. If [your-file] is removed from attachment section and a file is attached on the form side, messages go through with no problem. If [your-file] remains and no file is attached, messages go through no problem.

    BTW, when I go into webroot / wp-content / uploads / wpcf7_uploads / .htaccess
the htaccess file says “Deny from all” on line 1. don’t know if this matters

    thanks,
    Kristina

  • The problem that I am seeing is not the uploading part. That is working fine. It is the email that I am trying to attach the upload to isn’t getting sent. The email works fine if I don’t upload anything, but once I upload something I never see the email.

    Any help is appreciated.

Yes, jamiehlarsen, same on my side. I can upload no problem, but if I have an attachment in my email, then the form just sits there. The form send no problem if there is no attachment specified.

Thanks, kylee6114, for posting the error. I will look at that, but I don’t think I can fix it. I hope the developer can step in and help us. ??

So, I was able to adjust the php.ini , wp-config.php , and php upload temp folder and now I can upload up to 10MB without issues on the install that previously had errors over 1MB. After that, I’m having it just spin (no error). I’ll keep chipping away and see what I can do, since it seems like I’m closer to experiencing your error.

Out of curiosity, are you using Microsoft IIS for your site, @kristinanewyork? That’s the host I’m having issues with…

Thanks, kylee6114, for the updates. I am using GoDaddy. Mine uploads, but doesn’t send the email. We need the plugin developer, Takayuki Miyoshi, to please come into the conversation.
Thanks everyone for the updates and pointers.
