Can Contact Form 7’s file upload/attachment option allow for large files? Files that are 100mb in size? I am looking at possibilities for a printing company to receive files online thru their website. I would appreciate any thoughts on this. And if there is a better option please share.

Contact Form 7 is just a mail form plugin. Attaching 100MB file to mail isn’t a good idea.

Can you recommend an app to help allow the uploads? Im looking at NijaForms and the FileUploader there. Ive been told that would be a great way to go.

    Hi Takayuki,

    first: Great work!

I’m also looking for a way to keep (large) attachments on the server and sending only the other data via mail.
I’ve read many posts and I know how you think about this point.

A solution could be an option moving the wpcf7_uploads-files to a user generated directory (f.e. wp-content/uploads/wpcf7_attachments/).

Takayuki is right, emailing large files doesn’t make sense.

However, you could look at saving your form submission as a post in the backend along with your uploaded file and allowing your users to access this file online through a link in your email notification.

I wrote a plugin which plays nice with cf7 form submissions and allows you to map each form to a custom post.
