Uploading from Dashboard for users

    Hi and thanks for this excellent plugin

    I use Buoy, an alerting system where people can help each other and they can upload image, video, audio to describe difficult situations, but they cannot upload docs. You can see this thread where I made a feature request for this. I am not sure if the developer is convinced and I think that Buddydrive can do this task very well.

    The hard way: connect the two plugins.
    The easy way: Allow buddydrive uploads from the dashboard for simple users (Buoy works only from the dashboard). As the two menu entries will be near each other, it will be easy for the users to help a person that needs documents.

    I had a look in User Role Editor but I didn’t find a Buddydrive capability to check, in order to allow users to upload from dashboard (as admins do).

    What are you thinking about ?

    Since BuddyDrive is a add-on for BuddyPress, which is meant to be used from the front end, this will most likely never be part of BuddyDrive, the core plugin. But, we are considering adding a paid add-on marketplace. In that case, you could definitely submit such an idea for add-on consideration.
