  • Your custom logo icon needs to be a .png file, 59x60px, and saved to /wp-content/uploads/wptouch/custom-icons/ for WPTouch to see it. If the upload tool isn’t working, try FTP.

From the admin screen, “If an upload fails (usually it’s a permission problem) check your wp-content path settings in WordPress’ Miscellaneous Settings, or create the folder yourself using FTP and try again.” Start with permissions at 777 then work from there if necessary.

I am having the same problem with uploading an logo icon. I have created the .png file as you specified. However, i don’t see a Miscellaneous Settings on my admin screen. Do you access this somewhere else?

@murphchr, have you tried manually uploading your image files?

However, i don’t see a Miscellaneous Settings on my admin screen.

I was just looking for this too. The recent wp update may have depreciated that option.. I can’t find anywhere that mentions modifying the wp-content path setting. I was able to get things going by manually uploading them.

I’ve done all the ftp stuff but still no luck. Wonder if it’s because it’s a site within a multisite install? Any idea if I should look for a different folder?
