Uploading Images — 3.7 update

    Everything was going great, and then I updated to 3.7 and I can’t upload media anymore. I click on the “Add Media” and there is no capability to add files. This isn’t happening with my sites that I didn’t update to 3.7.

    I’ve disabled plug-ins, deleted plug-ins, cleared the cache, exited out of my browser, changed the wp-admin/plugins file name to plugins.hold and then back again after logging in, tried to change my theme, gone back to the default theme… everything that these forums have suggested to no avail.

    Help!! My blog is image heavy and I’m dead in the water right now.

    when I do it via the multi file uploader, it goes to 100% then stalls at “crunching”

    when I do the browser uploader, it goes to the end then a red box flashes “Error xxxxxx
    An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    does the same issues in chrome, firefox, and safari.

    I spoke to host and they sent me back to these forums…..they said they can see the photos on their backend, not sure why they are not showing up all the way in the file.

    I deactivated all the plugins again this am, and took it back to the 2012 theme. Was able to upload 5 out of another 50 tries.

    .they said they can see the photos on their backend, not sure why they are not showing up all the way in the file.

    Can you see them in media library?

    The OP was on a different host – and it was an IE issue – doesn’t sound like the same situation :).
