I’ve just installed NextGEN – I’m using Parabola theme – but when I try to add a gallery/images, the upload function doesn’t work. I can drag images into the box, but I get a warning icon that says “using runtime: html5” and when I click ‘upload’ the images disappear. Can anybody help? I’m new to www.ads-software.com and to galleries.

@jenniferrs – Could you submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) on this please. Any upload issues being experienced are very important for us to review and resolve.

    Thanks!

Hi Cais, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I’ve sent a report. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or me! When I enter the images, a little red button shows on the right. Hovering over it brings up ‘using runtime: html5. I don’t know what that means…

If I try opening a page and click your gallery icon, I get a message ‘no file specified’.

I’m using Firefox and GoDaddy as a host. Could that be the problem?

Sometimes the issue will resolve if you are using the default Permalinks and change that to something such as the “Post name” Permalinks.

I’ll check for the report as well.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
