Uploading images, audio video, flash files etc.

  • I have been trying to upload images on my website. However, I get the following message. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

    Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2009/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

  • Make sure that the directory “uploads” has write permission assigned. You may need to assign 755 or 777 based on your server configuration.
