Uploading Images for Support

    I am trying to upload an image in this forum so a developer of a plugin can help troubleshoot. I have tried both Dropbox and Google Photos links and I keep getting the same error message: This image has an empty alt attribute – its file name is ….

    How do I get the file to upload on this site?

  • You cannot upload images to this site directory.

    Just put the PUBLIC Google Photos or Dropbox link in your post: the developer will click the link to view the image wherever it’s hosted.

    The image feature here only accepts actual image URLs (typically ending in .jpg, .png, .gif, etc.). Those services you mentioned give URLs to web pages on their site where the image is hosted, and not the direct image link. That’s why these links don’t work.
