Uploading images from Android HTC Desire

Hi, when I try to upload an image to my site from my Android HTC Desire I get the following message “[filename].jpg is empty, please select files again without it”. What does this mean and is there a way around this? I would love to know because without the ability to upload images my site is useless! ??

Forgive me if I haven’t given enough information but I have just paid a developer to build my site and when he came up with this problem he had no idea and resigned from the project!
