uploading images in twenty eleven 1.2

Why? What happens?

Nothing happens.

I can take out a stock image, but can’t upload one of mine even though it’s in the media file

What happens when you try to upload an image? We need details before we can even try to help.

I want to replace the header image with one of my pictures.
I select the image and hit the upload button, but nothing is uploaded and the header is blank.

What kind of file are you uploading – .jpg., .gif or.png? Has the file been optimised for web use? Can you post a link to a page using this “blank” header?

I had to go to an appointment.

I am using a jpg file.

It’s in my media file set up for website use.

The banner link is pointing to https://www.thetruthaboutkelownarealestate.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/cropped-Sails-LARGE1.jpg but there is no file at that location. Have you checked to see if the file is being uploaded to that folder using FTP?

check file name that you uploaded. Could be looking for a certain file name that isn’t there anymore. Rename the picture to that name and location and it should work fine.
You need to make sure the picture is uploaded to this location “/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/”
and the picture is named “cropped-Sails-LARGE1.jpg”
