Uploading Images to a Gallery/Portfolio is Painstakingly Time Consuming!
-
Hi, just a question that’s been bugging me.
On my HTML site it was so much easier to upload a batch of images for my gallery. I just create a folder and then named all of my images numerically (image01, image02, image03 etc.) I could have 50 or so images but and as long as they were named numerically then it would work. All I had to do then was upload the folder and run an XML file and voila! the images would load from the folder. I didn’t have to upload each image individually.
I have been looking at a lot of Professional Themes and watching tutorials on how they upload images and every theme makes you upload every image individually which is so time consuming. I have 5 galleries all with 25 images each and if I have to upload thumbs and full-size images then that equals 200 separate uploads. Isn’t the whole idea behind WP to make tasks like adding a gallery easier?
Am I missing something or should it not be a lot easier? Do I have to upload each image individually or is there a simpler way?
Thanks
