Uploading Issue

  • Hi,

    There’s a upload script problem in our wordpress site

    We are trying to upload a image, but it’s not working on the current server, it works on our staging server

    Try to navigate into Portfolio > Edit a Portfolio > Under Upload a File , drag any images and click Start Upload…

    Once it’s uploaded, the image appear to be broken link…

    We have contacted the support from our hosting site:
    “I have tried uploading an image and able to duplicate the issue. I have noticed the image was not uploaded to the server. It appears that the application is corrupted. Please contact WordPress support to investigate the issue further.

    Sincerely,
    Level 3 Technical Support”

    We are not able to upload any images, please help….

  • The normal cause of this is file permissions. You’ll need to check what permissions are set on the /wp-content/uploads/ directory. If this looks correct then it’s going to be up to yur hosting company to alow the user (the erver user that the program executes as, not your WP user) the permission to upload files into that directory.
