Uploading large media files and associating them with posts

I used JW player for WP (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/) in the past. I uploaded the video file to Amazon S3 bucket and linked it to my WP blog post using this plugin. There are other ways to do, such as the one you mentioned (uploading via ftp). It really depends on the preference.

You may also try Viper’s Video Quicktags plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/vipers-video-quicktags/).

Thanks for the reply Pothi, the Vipers plugin might come in handy for another thing I’m doing for the site.

The large video files, that my post refer to, have to be on the same server that the site is hosted on so I need a solution that will make it easy for the client to complete the task.
