uploading mp3 problem

  • I’m having a problem w/ uploading mp3s from the wp admin panel.
    I’ve added “mp3” to the allowed files extensions in the options area.
    But everytime I want to upload a song wp says it can’t do it.
    I’ve also set a very high file size limit, so this ‘can’t be the problem.

    I know there are other ways to upload music via cpanel, but this is for a collective blog. It would be a lot easier for everyone to upload stuff from the admin area.

    Can anyone help? I don’t know what to do ??

  • Maybe there is a limit on your server regarding the filse size that can be uploaded.

    Yes, but you also limit file size uploads in your Word Press Options menu under File Uploads. There is a max number set. Maybe yours is too small.
