uploading non standard files with the multi-file uploader

    I try to upload gpx files in the Media Library.
    I get the error message “Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type.”
    After research, I added in wp-config.php the line “define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true);”.
    Now uploading gpx files work, but only when using the browser’s built-in file uploader (with the restriction of uploading only one file at a time). When using the multi-file uploader, it still does not work.

    Is there a possibility to allow all file types to be uploaded with the multi-file uploader ?
