• I seem to be struggling to upload any images – I click on add media – and nothing happens.

I took a screen-dump of the button to show that some of the other (new) components – are grey’ed out… please let me know where I can send it to (as I cant see where to upload it here!)

Please assist, as I cant upload ANY posts to my website now!
    Emma

    Hi,
I’m not sure what other “browsers” you’re referring to – if you mean Safari – that is the only one that I use on my mac.

I upgraded to 3.5.1 with my “inspiredbyemma.com” website… and now can’t upload any images.

On my other website: “freshsage.co.za” I’m still on 3.5 – and the media upload is fine… as you can imagine – I am now VERY reluctant to upgrade that one…

I’ve got a similar problem on my 3.51 WP site, but only if I use Internet Explorer (ver 9). If I use the Chrome or Firefox browser(both latest versions) on my Win7 PC, I can click the “Select Files” button and properly select & upload to my heart’s content.

But I’ve apparently got something in my IE configuration that isn’t happy with WP’s file upload method. I’ve updated my FLASH to the current version, even upgraded to their beta version, but no changes.

I can do it fine with same version of IE 9 on my laptop computer (also running Win7), just not on my desktop.

FYI, this “quirk” happens on all 11-12 of my WP sites, from this one computer, so it’s not WP per se, and not this one site per se. The only thing in common is this IE 9 browser on this particular computer.

I’m looking forward to seeing if the moderator or other users come up with a solution for resolving this quirk. ??

@ibesing, please start your own thread – it’s rude to hijack someone else’s and it’s unlikely that you actually have the same problem.

And BTW, IE is not recommended for any web development work, so the easy solution is to avoid that browser.
