Uploading Pics Problem!!

    When I upload pictures thru the wp-admin, they don’t appear unless I manually move the files into gallery directory via FTP. How do I fix this?

  • Where exactly did you upload the pictures to? The first time I tried to do what you’re doing, I uploaded the photos to the ‘photos’ directory in public_html. But they actually need to be in ‘imagemenu>images’ in the theme I’m using.

    Anybody else having this problem or know how to fix it???

    I have just moved hosting companies and when ever I attempt to upload pics to any page the following error message appears:

    Unable to create directory /home/rgs1/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    What does this mean?
