I have a copy of WordPress 4.4 running on my localhost with wampserver. This is because I’m new to WordPress and wanted to work at manipulating the software without messing any thing up. The problem at the moment is that I bought a Pro Theme but I can’t load it onto WordPress, I’ve tried several times to no avail.

Is it possible to do this with WordPress in a localhost.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Hey Michael.oc,

    How are you doing today?

Yes this is definitely possible to use on local host. There are few things that does not work out of a box in local environment (such as emails for example) but everything else should be exactly the same.

Local is great for testing so you should definitely keep using it!

If you can’t install it through dashboard try unzipping the file and uploading theme folder to /wp-content/themes/ to see if that will help ??

    Thanks Bojan
I figured it out a couple of days ago, should have returnedd earlier to let the forum know.

Unzipped it and added it via www along with the other Themes.

    Works a treat.

    Thanks again.

    Michael.

    Hey Michael,
