Uploading video to custom post type does not refresh list of uploaded items

Hello, I’ve observed that when I upload a video to a custom post type, it isn’t immediately visible in the media library.

However, the video does get uploaded.
It only appears after clicking out of the library and pressing the upload button again.

It seems like the list doesn’t refresh automatically after uploading.
I have the feeling this is also true for images.

Uploading a video directly in the media library, then venturing to the custom post type, shows the video directly, but those scenario’s will probably be too hard to explain to my editors ?? Sorry if you read this lads/laddies, I love you. you know that!
