upload/insert image popup does not appear

    I am creating a new post. When I click on the upload/insert image button, I see my page refresh, but no popup window appears. The same thing occurs if I click on video, audio, or media buttons.

    It has been working for a long time and I cannot figure out why it is not working. I have tried with Firefox, IE, and Chrome. Same problem.

    (I have read through the other, similar posts, but can’t find one where the popup window simply does not generate. Sorry if this is a duplicated question.)

    I just noticed also that that the “visual” side of the edit page is not working. It shows the html code only.
