  • There are a few ways to deal with this, maybe try the Search and Replace tool?

    Hello!

I would recommend that you check the WordPress Settings->General, are the WordPress Address and Site Address fields are set to the current URL?

If I can ask, what method did you use to migrate the WordPress installation?

Hi WPRanger, I will check that tool out, thanks.

    Hi Balint

I have changed the address in general settings it just seems to be on the wp content folder. I have also used the Velvet Blues update urls plugin, which hasn’t fixed it.

I used ‘duplicator plugin’ to transfer the wordpress site from Hostgator hosting onto a hybrid server.

Thank you for the info. I would also recommend the Search and replace script that WPRanger mentioned. I have used it on some occasions to migrate a site. Try to make a search for the IP address, and change it to the site domain. But it is essential to make a backup of the whole WordPress database, because things can go wrong very easy.

I used the search and replace tool, and although it found a few links that I wasn’t aware of it still hasn’t solved the issue of the address for the wp-contents folder, it is still showing https://212.67.219.81/wp-contents…….

Are you using some caching plugin? Because in that case you have to issue a cache rebuild for the database changes to actually appear.
