Upon Activation: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION

    Plugin looks really great on the demo I am looking forward to install it!

    I am sadly getting this error upon trying to activate:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home8/nivelape/public_html/wp-content/plugins/halosocial/halosocial.php on line 79

    I am running PHP Version 5.4.24

    What can be the issue?
