Upon Migration Menu not working

    Hello Nicholas,

    I Cloned/Migrated my https://mathonia.com/ site into https://export2asiapacific.com to test the WPVivid. (The destination site had only WP installed there.)

    Process went OK. All files (pages, posts, images etc) seems to have been successfully migrated. all the urls have been accordingly changed. But, none of the menu item is pulling the pages.

    Upon clicking, I get the “404 Error. Page Not Found.” notification

    I have tried deleting the menu and recreating it. Still, no luck!

    Any idea what is going on, and how to fix it?

    Addendum to the original support post:

    Another anomaly to bring to your attention: The login ‘User Name’ and ‘PW’ of the destination site also got changed to that of the site that was cloned/migrated!

    Anyway to stop it from happening?

    Hi Parwaiz,

    Please log in to the destination site, go to Settings > Permalink, and click Save Changes button.

    If the issue still exists, can you please provide the temporary admin accounts on both sites and send them to us via email(support[at]wpvivid.com)? This helps us troubleshoot the issue.

    BTW, after site migration, the database is replaced, that’s why username and password are changed. You can modify them as needed after migration.

    Hi Nicholas,

    Saving the Permalinks saved the day! u-Name and PW, as you said, can be easily changed by editing the wp-config file.

    The Plugin worked perfect. I’ll be posting a review on it shortly.
