• I have a page that I have updated the slug/permalink on. After doing so, when I use the WP to Twitter plugin to post a page update it references the old URL instead of the new. A solution (although poor) was to delete the page and then remove it from trash. I then have to recreate the page with the correct slug/permalink. Does anyone know of a simpler way around this? Thank you.

You’ll need to clear the Tweet history for that post, so that WP to Twitter doesn’t try to use the same URL. Clearing the history is an option at the bottom of the WP to Twitter meta box.

THANKS JOE! In case others are having the same issue you can only see the history on a post/page that you have already submitted a tweet for. Hence the issue of it trying to reuse the old URL and your follower all reporting to you at the same time that the URL is broken.
