    Hey,

Easy Pricing Tables uses a custom post type called “easy-pricing-table”. The post type is not be visible to non-admin users, won’t show up in archives and won’t be indexed by Google, so there’s nothing to worry about.

    Hey David, thanks for reply.

I know it’s a custom post type. Didn’t know about non-admins and Google though, sounds neat.

Still that doesn’t help with my issue, that the Easy Pricing Table Custom Post Type entry automatically became post when I saved it, without asking me first. It seems to have been an issue with Post Type Switcher, at least Easy Pricing Tables seems to work properly now after I deactivated PTS.

I do have three posts though – that started their life as Pricing Tables – that I can’t delete (yes, I know it sounds weird… )

    Hey thorirv,

Thanks for explaining the issue further. I’ll have a look at this issue and then report back. Glad to hear things are working now.

    Cheers,

    Quick update:
As you noticed, this is a conflict with Post Type Switcher. It seems like many plugins that use custom post types are having incompatibility issues with Post Type Switcher.

Some people have submitted bugfixes to the support forum of Post Type Switcher but the developer hasn’t released any bug fixes.

Since the developer isn’t fixing his plugin, the next version of Easy Pricing Tables will automatically deactivate Post Type Switcher if it is installed.

I don’t use a Post Type Switcher but have the same problem that the pricing table is saved as ‘post’ instead of ‘easy-pricing-table’ custom post type. The site uses Easy Pricing Table plugin v1.5.2 and WP3.9

I have another site with Easy Pricing Table plugin v1.5.1 and WP3.7.1 and that works fine.

So it seems that it is some incompatibility with WP3.9

    Kind regards,

    Richard

    Thanks David for following up.

Interesting to read about PWS’s experience. FWIW, after I disabled Post Type Switcher, Easy Pricing Tables behave as I would expect. On WP 3.9.

Now I only have to figure out how to delete the entries that became posts and respond to no admin actions (set to draft, delete, etc.)

    Hi PremiumWebServices,
Easy Pricing Tables definitely works with WP 3.9.

This is must be some conflict with another plugin you’ve installed.

I’d be happy to look into it if you provide me with one of the following:
    A) A list of all plugins + the theme you have installed.
    B) WP Admin login details.

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi David,
I have investigated further and switched to the default 2014 theme and it worked.
From that it looks like if there is some incompatibility with the theme used (which is strange, as it works on exactly the same setup, with the same theme but with older WordPress). I am using ShopperPress v7.1.4 from PremiumPress themes.

Where do I send you the login details?

    Thank you,

    Richard
