Upon server migration, can view data only in Edit mode (not Preview)

    Hi,

    I just moved my xampp localhost/wordpress installation to my hosted webserver. Followed all the steps in the tutorial (wp_posts, site, url, etc.). Everything looks okay once I log into my WP account on my new webserver — all the posts/pages are there.

    However, when I go to preview them, all I get is a blank page (as well as when I go to my url – nothing shows up).

    Why would everything look okay in Edit mode, but not appear in Preview or when going to the url? That is the root of my problem that I’ve been banging my head against a wall for the past day or two.

    Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions are most welcome.

    Seems it was only a Permalink issue… Got it figured out — case closed.

    Judy! What finally worked for you? I am having almost the same problem but when I change the permalinks under the Settings tab, no change. Did you do something differently?

    All I did was change the permalinks setting from “Default” to one of the “Date/Month” settings and then saved it. Amazingly, that was all it took for my posts/blog to start showing up.
