Uppercase letters in title headings after update 4.0.1

    First letters are automatically changed to uppercase FOR ALL WORDS in title headers. I just tested 4.0.1, and the problem still exists.

    There is currently no way to deactivate this in the customizer. Maybe it should be possible to deselect the “Aa” for headings?

    I’m asking because I don’t want to update my sites until the issues are fixed.

    Unfortunately this workaround doesn’t change anything in my case, eventhough I tried several times.

    Is this issue going to be fixed in version 4.0.2?

    Are you sure? I updated some sites from 4.0.0 to 4.0.2, and none had uppercase letters in the titles after the update (but other sites did when I updated to 4.0.1).

    Did you try the following:

    Customize -> Blog -> Single Post -> Post Title -> Design -> Title Font -> Click the Aa on the left -> Publish. Do the same for the Blog / Archive.

    This still seems to be buggy. I got it working for pages, but not for posts.

    Luckily this all happened to my test environment. Finally, I got it working by exporting customizer settings from the online version (3.9.4) and importing it on my test environment (4.0.2).

    It should work. If it doesn’t, you can go to the setting and just re-select the Text Transformation you prefer to use, or unselect them all.

    This default needs to be changed. It is not ok to just add text-transform: capitalize; as default for titles.

    Yes, @jarledb. It’s changed on Astra v4.0.2.

    What if we don’t want any transformation? I cannot deselect any of the transformations on the video you shared.
