Uptime Robot

    Hi,

    Uptime Robot bot is frequently blocked by StopBadBots. I reordered the bots by number of blocks and searched any occurence of Uptime, Monitor Robot, oBot, etc. But I’m at the point where I can’t see which bot is considered as Uptime Robot. Do you have any experience with that?

    How can we reset the number of blocks? This way it would restrict the choice.

    Can we see the logs? At which date and at which time each bot has been blocked?

    Hi Florence,

    Talk with uptime guys and ask to them their bot name.

    You can also enable notifications by email to help you.

    To reset the log, delete the plugin and install again.

    Ask with your hosting about log files of visits.

    Wow, you replied so quickly that I thought it was a confirmation sent by www.ads-software.com to confirm that my ticket had been created ??

    Their bot name is very simple: UptimeRobot (https://access.watch/database/robots/nice/uptime-robot)

    I’ll uninstall the plugin and reinstall it, as you advised and then I’ll turn the email notifications on. I hope I won’t get too many emails in my mailbox.

    Ultimately, I’ll check the logs on the server.

    There’s a problem here, Bill.

    I received an email notification saying:

    Bot was detected and blocked.

    Date…………..: May 16, 2018, 4:31 pm User Agent……..: Sucuri Uptime Monitor Robot IP Address..: 198.58.112.103 String Found:…… Monitor

    But there’s no bot listed with “sucuri”: https://i.imgur.com/8jIlaGG.jpg
