Urgent: broken styles after cache purge

    Hi there, I’m working on a client’s site and purged the AO cache, only to see the site complete lose all of its styling.

    I’ve since updated the AO plugin to the latest version but unsure how to restore the styles to the site? Please help, I’m able to pay for the urgent support. The client is in Australia so we have a window of a few hours to do this work prior to having significant issues.

    just had a look, all seems OK now so I guess you found the reason (which likely was a stubborn page cache)?

    Hi and thanks for the quick reply; I really don’t know what happened after purging the cache; does it normally take long for it to refresh? Anyway, seems like it’s back to working normally now… phfeeeew!

    no, this is 99,87654321% sure due to page caching (with a plugin or server side or as hoster level or 3rd party); if a page is served from cache and that page has references to Autoptimized JS/ CSS that has been removed, the page is broken. clearing the page cache fixes that.
